We’re back with another look at the dungeon run data! Zmiecer continues tracking just how much people are playing Mythic+, so let’s dive in!
The Weekly Chart
Last time we saw the very first uptick of the War Within, after the very positive changes to the format and rewards. This time around things aren’t as good, but they’re still very solid. We do see a drop-off compared to the previous week, but it’s a very slight one. Only around 50,000 fewer runs were logged, and considering the previous week was the uptick, that’s pretty good.
Previous Season Comparisons
The comparison is, as always, to Dragonflight Season 4, considering it’s the only other season with the new Mythic+ structure we have today. Compared to DF Season 1, the total dropoff is much better here. However, the overall numbers are slightly smaller, lagging around 80K behind it. Considering the keystone changes, that probably means TWW is actually ahead, as the lower keys which don’t really exist after the squish also counted in the number of runs back then. Compared to the giant DF Season 3, everything looks tiny, however. It had 250K more than DF S1, putting it at 320K more than TWW S1 in this same week.
