New MH Wilds Patch Fixes Progression and Cooking Bug

Capcom just released a new update for Monster Hunter Wilds, addressing some of the recently reported issues that are affecting players across all platforms. The latest patch, Version 1.000.04.00, fixes progression-blocking bugs and issues related to food stations.

Key Fixes in the Update:

  • Campfire Cooking and Food Supply Station Bug Fixed – Some players could not unlock Campfire Cooking or Food Supply Stations even after meeting the requirements. This issue has now been resolved.
  • Chapter 5-2 Progression Fix – In the main mission Chapter 5-2: an NPC failing to appear made it impossible for some players to progress. This has now been fixed, allowing affected players to continue the quest.

More details on the patch can be found here (though the page may take time to update).

How to Apply the Fixes

To make sure the fixes take effect, you must restart the game after installing the patch. Once updated, the title screen should display Ver.1.000.04.00.

Capcom has, once again, apologized for any inconvenience caused and is continuing to monitor issues as they come up. Make sure to download the update before jumping back into the hunt!
