What Do The Soul Hunters Drop?
The raid boss drops Shoulder set tokens and boots that increase the effect of your Reshii Wraps cloak, which makes the boss sound more like the main course as opposed to a side dish.
Optional in Theory Mandatory in Practice
Blizzard later confirmed that while you can skip the boss if you don’t need the loot, killing The Soul Hunters is still mandatory for Hall of Fame credit.
“While you can bypass this encounter once your raid group decides the rewards from it are not compelling… completion will still be required for credit toward Hall of Fame status.“
