Ashes of Creation devs just teased an exciting new mount: the Scorpix, a massive and menacing scorpion mount that will soon be available in-game. However, players will not be able to simply buy or tame this beast. Instead, testers will have to work together to obtain it.
While no official details have been shared yet, many players speculate that the Scorpix will drop from a raid boss, as hinted in the comments on X/Twitter. Given the game’s focus on challenging PvE content, it would not be surprising if acquiring this rare mount requires defeating a PvE boss.
In response to a question about taming wild creatures, the Ashes of Creation team confirmed that the hunting profession will be expanded in the future. So, players may eventually be able to walk up to random mobs and tame them.
