Best Leveling Strategy for Season 5

Rob’s latest video deals with the fastest way of reaching max level in the Season of the Infernal Hordes.

Level 1: Create a seasonal character and start the game on World Tier II. Get the pet at the Wardrobe for auto pickup.
Level 10: Start the seasonal quest called “Of Lambs and Wolves” and earn your first Season Journey rewards.
Loot 1 Herb on the way and craft the Level 10 Precision Elixir at the Alchemist for +5% more XP. Alternatively, complete “Raising Spirits” in Kyovashad.
Level 30-37: Start Helltides with 3 groups of 4 players for a total of 12 players.
Join this discord, set your role to D4 Season SC and head to the LFG-Helltide-WT2 channel. Join the Community & leave group while staying in the same instance. Coordinate/follow each other to do events & open chests at the end.
During 5-minute Helltide breaks, complete Class Quests, salvage, and min/max your gear, and complete 1-2 Dungeons for Aspect (Juggernaut / whatever you like).
Level 35-40: Start a Capstone Dungeon if you are feeling comfortable (min level 35 is required). Again, join this discord, assign your D4 Season SC Role and go to the LFG-Capstone-WT2 channel. Temper base gear, reroll some gear & prepare for capstone. In groups, let the Minion Necromancer carry solo > Others should join at the boss.
Alternatively, you can complete Helltides for a few more levels.
Level 36-41: Switch to World Tier III. Continue the seasonal quest called “The Eyes of the Enemy” until your first Infernal Hordes run.
Level 45-50:
- Start doing Nightmare Dungeons right away until Level 55.
- Alternatively, you can complete WT3 Helltides. To find groups, go to the LFG-Helltide-WT3 channel in the Discord linked above. (Level 45-50)
- During 5-minute downtimes, salvage your gear and finish additional Aspects.
- Level 54-58: You should now complete your third helltide. Temper base gear, reroll some gear, and prepare for your capstone.
Level 55-59: Stack fire resistance, go to Discord, and enter the LFG-Capstone-WT3 channel to search for more players for your group. The minimum level is 55.
Switch to World Tier IV
Either start doing 1 Whisper & Nightmare Dungeon right away and blast until Level 100 or start running Helltides again. This time, in World Tier 4.
Level 61-64: Complete a Whisper in Helltide downtime (PvP Area)
Level 65-70: Fourth Helltide get as much Life Steel as possible.
Level 70-80: Start Nightmare Dungeon (Split in groups and complete events)
Level 80-85: Level all your glyphs.
Level 86-100: Keep blasting until you reach level 100!
Solo players can complete Tier 46 Nightmare Dungeons to farm Rune Stones and then enter the pit. Monsters will be Level 100 and each run provides great XP and Item Power 925 Loot! For groups, split farming NMDs is better for XP.
Level 100 – Go for Tormented Bosses or Pits.
