The First Pet With a Player Teleportation Ability Arrives, It’s From the Store, and May Be Coming to the West

It seems the paid-for quality of life improvements are coming in fast and hot! This particular one is only for Chinese servers for now, as they are getting a pet that can teleport players!

A Mists of Pandaria Teleport?

As spotted by Wide-Championship494 and Neo, NetEase, who run WoW in China, announced a new pet coming to retail. According to the official video, Xiao Liu is a pet that allows players to use it to teleport to Mists of Pandaria dungeons and raids. This is a strange choice of location, as MoP Remix isn’t live in the region and Classic Pandaria isn’t coming soon either (and the pet doesn’t worn in Classic anyway). The price is around $16, which is significantly more than other pets in the region, which usually cost around $6.

The pet itself is the same model as the Teatuft Tamer and Fullbelly Rollingpaw, and we should be seeing both of them in an upcoming Trading Post rotation.

Possibly Coming to the West?

Wowhead also reported that we may be seeing the pet worldwide as well, as they dug up an encrypted image preview named “shop-card-full-panda-teleport” on NA and EU servers. Nothing official has been announced, so we’ll just have to wait and see.
