Venti Has His Voice Back? Erika Harlacher Confirms Return to Genshin Impact

After months of quiet speculation and a very long drought of English voiceovers in Genshin Impact, fans finally have concrete hope. Erika Harlacher-Stone, the voice behind Venti-has confirmed she’s back in the studio. In a direct reply to fans, she shared that she has officially voiced Venti again, hinting at a long-awaited return of English voice actors to the game, possibly beginning soon.

While recent social media buzz had already sparked cautious optimism, Erika’s follow-up comments as of earlier today leaves little doubt. Venti has lines recorded to be voiced on the current Archon Quest! This isn’t just a vague tease- it’s confirmed, and could mark the beginning of the end for the extended silence that’s affected so many recent story beats.

Should You Wait to Play the Archon Quest?

Now that Erika has confirmed Venti’s the news, players may want to consider holding off on completing the new Archon quest that launched with Version 5.6-especially if you’re an English dub enjoyer. If HoYoverse intends to patch in English voiceovers later in the update cycle, early adopters may miss the full emotional impact of scenes involving Venti.

That being said, you may still need to wait another 6 weeks before this is implemented as we have no official confirmations on when Venti’s voice would be added.

What Does This Mean for Other Characters?

With Erika back, speculation is already flying about which other actors might be returning soon. To not get people’s hopes up however, nothing at all is confirmed yet beyond Venti. Erika has been very vocal about wanting to return back to Genshin Impact while different VA’s are participating in the strike for a range of reasons. That being said, this first step could begin paving the way.
