We’re finally back to our standard format, where we focus primarily on Mythic with Heroic as a bonus! Over 20 guilds have managed to clear the raid after the Queen Ansurek nerfs, 22, in fact. Things are looking very different from Heroic, with the exception of Enhancement, which is on top everywhere, so let’s dive in.
Note: We are using normalized scores instead of raw DPS for the Warcraft Logs rankings. Normalized scores take into account the outlier boss fights where certain specs could stack massive DPS (due to the nature of the fight, whether it’s AoE spam or something else), which would then affect their overall score for the whole raid.
Mythic
Overall Damage 95th Percentile
Mythic is all about Enhancement as the Shaman is destroying everything in its path. We already have a huge change in No.2, however, as Fire is completely unfazed by the nerfs, whereas it fell off a cliff in Heroic last week. Arcane is neck and neck with Fire, as the Mages basically share 2nd. The next huge difference from the lower difficulty comes in 4th place, as Retribution is doing much better. But the real shocker comes after that, as we see Marksmanship in 6th! The Hunter is way down near the bottom in Heroic, making this the biggest difference between the two difficulties.
Frost DK is doing a lot better as well, as is customary in the high percentiles, while Assassination is actually down quite a bit compared to Heroic. BM is also doing a little better here, while Unholy is doing a LOT better, since it’s way down at the bottom in the lower difficulty. Havoc is actually extremely stable in both H and M, only 1 spot apart here in 10th. Augmentation and Frost are still at the bottom, joined by a different Warlock in Mythic, as Affliction finds itself down in the dumps – with Destruction directly above.
Overall Damage All Percentiles
We see the same top 4 here, but things change in 5th already. Assassination is doing better in the generalist bracket, much closer to its Heroic performance. Frost DK is also a little higher, just ahead of the entirety of the Hunter class! MM comes out on top again, but Survival makes an appearance just above BM for a very green block. Unholy unseats Havoc to close out the top 10, as the bottom looks the same as in the top percentiles.
Boss Only Damage All Percentiles
Assassination may be doing worse in the overall damage department, but it’s actually at the very top in Mythic when it comes to direct damage, doing a lot better than in Heroic. Enhancement is close by, however, as the spec is dominating in all departments. Beast Mastery is doing great in 4th as well, with Retribution also being a great all-rounder, and Survival also makes it into the top 10.
Heroic Damage All Percentiles
Enhancement is on top in Heroic as well and Assassination actually gained a spot since last week, pushing Arcane out of 2nd. Devastation is making some big moves, moving 2 spots up into 4th, leaving Arms in the dust. Retribution is also gaining fast, one up from last week, just ahead of Subtlety, which falls even further down into 7th. Shadow remains stable in 8th, with Survival breaking into the top 10 just ahead of Havoc, which is up a lot in 10th.
U.gg Raw Mythic DPS Rankings by Hero Talent Tree
We’re in Mythic in the raw DPS Hero talent rankings as well and there’s still a Shaman on top, but this time it’s Elemental! Fire is also doing well while Balance makes a surprise appearance in 3rd. Beast Mastery and Retribution are less surprising to see after that, with Demonology in 6th being more of a shock. We have three DK trees in the top 10, with the 2nd Fire coming in at No.9 as well.
