A whole lot of tuning has come and gone over the past weeks, so let’s see if things have stabilized in the dungeons. From class changes to dungeon and item adjustments, we’ve seen so much change recently. But, one thing that never seems to change is Augmentation’s dominance over the dungeon format. We’re also taking a look at the much more stable tank and healer rankings, as well as the Hero trees!
Warcraft Logs Points
The below logs are based on POINTS, and not actual damage or healing. This means that they log the timed completion for the specs, with higher keys getting more points, obviously. The time in which the dungeon is completed is also a factor. It is a much, much smaller factor, granting only a few points for significantly faster completions compared to just any in-time finish. We’re also using the Normalized Aggregate Scores numbers, for clarity. This means that the top spec is marked as 100 and then the rest are ranked in relation to that peak point.
95th percentile DPS
While Aug is still very much on top, the other specs are catching up to it. Frost DK especially, as it’s almost neck and neck with the Evoker, having gained a few points since last time. In 3rd we immediately have a new face, with Assassination taking Balance’s place, as the Druid falls off 3 spots to make room for the buffed Fire and unbuffed Arcane. Affliction is also on the rise, gaining a massive 5 spots in 7th, pulling away from its fellow purple spec, with Destruction dropping 2 spots into 13th. Unholy bursts into the top 10 from way down near the bottom, pushing Outlaw down one. Enhancement actually drops the most in the top, losing 4 to find itself at the bottom of the top 10. Demonology joins Arms and Beast Mastery at the bottom.
All Percentiles
The top 4 are the same as above in the generalist bracket, with Fire being the biggest new addition after its buffs. Affliction is flying even higher here, slotting into 5th with a 2-spot bump. Elemental is the biggest difference from the top percentiles, as it moves in just above its fellow Shaman, claiming the final top 10 spot for itself.
U.gg Raw DPS Rankings by Hero Talent Tree
The giant Hero tree list is back! Unholy’s San’layn gets knocked out of first by Outlaw’s Trickster, as the two swap off at the top. Devastation moves on up and takes Deathbringer down, as the DKs bringer joins the Shaman’s. Retri and Assassination are moving up as well, as Frost DK drops down. The bottom sees double-Beast Mastery as none of its Hero trees are really working great at the moment, as we can see in the above charts as well.
Tanks, All Percentiles
DKs dominate the dungeons at the moment, but pretty much all the tanks (except for Paladin) are excelling at the moment and are very close together.
Healers, All Percentiles
Shamans pull ahead at the top and take Discipline down! Evokers remain in 3rd as the rest of the healers are pretty close together.
