It’s time to check out some stats! There’s a new player sharing the number of Mythic+ dungeon runs each week, as Zmiecer has taken up the mantle.
The Numbers
As you’d expect, the run amounts have dropped, but not by much. The 2.4 million amount from week 1 went to 2.1 this week. This is actually less than the total runs back in Dragonflight Season 1, but there has been a Mythic+ squish, not to mention Delves. The comparison to DF Season 4 is the closest we can get, as it was also post-squish.
The numbers below are of total Mythic+ runs. That means each instance of a dungeon that was run (either timed or not), and not of actual players running them.
If you really want to compare with earlier Dragonflight seasons, here’s the chart, courtesy of MythicPlusPoster:
In case you’re wondering what happened to the 5 million number we mentioned last week, that one was actually related to total characters running Mythic+. That number is over 10 million today, so it’s remained pretty stable. That’s 4,866,487 characters running Mythic+ this past week.
Considering the big impact of Delves and the squish the numbers seem pretty good. We’ll see how they fare in the coming weeks, as players won’t be able to find higher item level gear in Delves after a while and may go back to dungeons instead.
