Where Winds Meet Suspends Over 5000 Accounts

The team behind Where Winds Meet is not messing around. Between November 15 and December 5, Eastwind Pavilion suspended roughly 5,000 accounts for breaking the rules, including cheating, speed hacks, and the use of third-party tools.

Account Suspension for Violations

According to their statement, the developers have been actively monitoring gameplay and rolling out technical measures to spot unusual behavior. Any accounts that are confirmed to have violated the game’s rules will face strict penalties. Those can include losing your spot on the leaderboard, being blocked from certain modes like Arena, or even temporary or permanent bans. This is especially the case for PvP content.

The devs pointed out that each case is reviewed individually, so even if you get reported unfairly, you should not get banned unless you really cheated. They also encouraged players to report any suspicious behavior through the in-game reporting system. Their goal is really to keep Where Winds Meet fair and enjoyable for everyone and also to protect players’ in-game assets.

We strive to ensure a fair gaming experience while protecting your in-game assets,” they wrote.

This move is a small reminder that the game takes cheating seriously, and breaking the rules is not worth the risk. After all, even in the game you can end up in prison if you break the rules! So if you want to stay on the safe side, stick to legit gameplay and report anything weird you see.

If your account has been banned unfairly, or if you have any questions, you can contact the team directly through their customer service email: [email protected].
