Blizzard had a pretty big announcement in the middle of all the patch 11.2 K’aresh action. Mythic+ players should get ready to rejoice as wiping is about to be a whole lot more comfortable.
Shorter Runbacks With the Waystone System
We have a big change coming to Mythic+ in The War Within Season 3! Multiple new checkpoints are being added to every dungeon! Blizzard are rethinking the timers and runbacks in Season 3, so when you wipe you don’t have to run back all the way from quite as far back. They will also be clearly marked, so you always know where you’re running back from!
The Waystones are marked on the dungeon map so you know where you’ll be popping up, as you can see below.
