In a recent tweet by PlayStation, it was announced that attendees at Evo Las Vegas 2025 will be able to try out a playable demo of Arc System Works’ Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls on August 1.
If you want to play the demo, you’ll have to head over to the Arc System Works booth. You’ll be able to play with friends and other attendees. There will also be collectible rewards for anyone joining in on the fun.
What is Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls?
The game was initially announced on June 4, 2025, and is set to release in 2026. However, no exact release date has been announced yet. It’s being developed by Arc System Works, the popular fighting game studio behind the Guilty Gear franchise.
What’s Playable in the Evo Demo?
Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls initially revealed eight characters. Of those, six will be available for players to try out at the demo. The available characters are:
- Captain America
- Doctor Doom
- Iron Man
- Storm
- Star Lord
- Ms. Marvel
Spider-Man and Ghost Rider won’t be available in the demo and players will have to wait a bit longer to see them in action!
Dev Panel Details and Livestream Time
Additionally, alongside the playable demo, there will be a Developer Combat Panel livestream featuring members of both the Arc System Works and the Marvel Games development teams, where they’ll discuss the game mechanics in depth.
The livestream is scheduled for August 1 at 8 p.m. PT. If you’re attending Evo, you can catch it live at the Evo Showcase Stage.
