It’s all Havoc all the time in Mythic+, as the spec has fully taking over Remix, making up a quarter of the runs made, and it’s gaining in retail as well! It’s not only the top solo spec, but even the most popular actual full group has three of them in it! Let’s take a look at what’s happening.

The data used in this article comes from Raider.IO‘s excellent analytics tools, taking into account all Mythic+ runs across all levels of play. The data is focused on this past reset and not on the season as a whole.
The Most Popular Specs in Legion Remix
Things have very much gone off the deep end here, as ALL specs aside from one just decided to switch to the one! Havoc not only reigns supreme, it’s also a truly insane quarter of all specs played! The Demon Hunter sits at 24% of all runs made in Remix, with it not only being the top solo spec, but also being present in almost all groups. The gap between Havoc and the rest of the top 4 last week was a few percent, but now we immediately see an 11% drop to No.2!
Retribution managed to snag the silver here, and even though it has pulled away from the rest, almost 3% ahead of the Druids, Balance leading the way. The rest of the chart has become much more compact, as everyone just moved to Havoc, but it’s still the tanks on top, with Unholy and Fury breaking them up a little. The sub-1%ers already start in the middle of the chart!

Group Composition Popularity
The group composition chart basically mirrors the regular popularity one for the first 11 spots, as they’re all solo runs. Our first actual group sees a 5-DPS triple-Havoc setup, with Balance and Ret filling out the rest of the spots. We see some duo groups get pretty popular as well, with double Havoc and Ret Havoc leading the way.
The Most Popular Specs in Mythic+
Beast Mastery gains even more ground this week, going up another 0.3%. The rest of the top specs also all either stay put or gain 0.1%ish, draining the lower-ranked population even further. The spec of the event for Remix, Havoc, is also gaining ground here, with a 0.2% move up, which moves it past Resto Druid into 7th place.

Group Composition Popularity
The top group keeps gaining, with another 1% added to the Prot Warr, Resto Sham, Frost DK, Havoc, and BM combo. The gains come almost entirely from the second group, which replaces the Shaman with a Druid, and the third, which goes for Ret over Havoc.
