Few landmarks in Azeroth carry as much legend and raw magical power as the Sunwell. Nestled in the mystical lands of Quel’Thalas, this font of arcane energy has fueled the magic of the blood elves for centuries and has played a pivotal role in major events across World of Warcraft history.
But in Midnight, the Sunwell isn’t just a distant memory on the map. In fact, it’s visible from across the world!
A Skyline Surprise
A recent YouTube short by streamer Sionz shows the Sunwell’s radiant column piercing the void, visible all the way from Westfall in the Midnight Alpha.
The Ultimate Viewing Spot
Taking the experiment one step further, we ventured to the southernmost tip of the continent: Booty Bay. From here, the Sunwell can still be seen cutting through the void.
While the idea of spotting the Sunwell from neighboring continents would take the immersion to the next level, we confirmed that, at least for now, it remains exclusive to the Eastern Kingdoms. Even from a distance, the Sunwell is a striking symbol of hope and a reminder that Light will persist amid darkness and chaos.
