It’s been a full year since Marvel Rivals initially released, and for its anniversary, the devs have a huge celebration in store for fans. For a limited time, players can earn up to 1,500 Units, some new free and premium skins, along with a new mode, and a limited-time return of the season 1 Battle Pass.
Marvel Rivals Anniversary Celebration
That’s right, Marvel Rivals is turning one, and as a part of the Anniversary Celebration, players are getting four events across two phases. Phase 1 kicks off on November 27th, beginning with a daily log-in reward that gives players 1,500 units! But be warned, these units are temporary, so spend them while you can!
Speaking of Units, the second event allows players to invite new or veteran players to assemble! Assembling at least one player will earn you he exclusive Bright Future emote, and playing with your friends can earn you up to 600 Units!
Event three is the Times Square Countdown. Players who log in and join the Times Square map can snag an additional 200 Units and the Rivals’ Day 2025 title. But like most of these rewards, this is limited, but you can log in within 72 hours after the countdown ends to claim the rewards as well.
Finally, the last event of Phase 1 has players unlock the Jeff the Land Shark – Business Shark costume and custom interchangeable parts for FREE. Plus, upgrading to the Premium track also nets you Invisible Woman’s Disappearing Dessert costume, Mister Fantastic’s Dad-tastic Reed costume.
New Mode & Season 1 Battle Pass Return
Along with the tons of Units and skins players can get, Marvel Rivals is bringing in a new game mode during the Anniversary Celebration. An 18v18 Domination will launch alongside a brand-new map, the Grand Garden.
But that’s not all, the devs are also bringing back the Season 1 battle pass, so if you missed out, now’s your chance! But be quick, the pass will only be available between November 27th and December 11th.
Black Friday Store Discounts
With all of these Units, both permanent and temporary players will be looking to cash out, and there’s no better time than the Marvel Rivals Black Friday Sale! From November 28th to December 2nd, select items are 20% off. Plus, every eligible purchase earns you a discount coupon. Use your coupon and get another that offers a bigger discount than the last! And yes, all Season 3 and earlier items are available to purchase.
But of course, there’s gonna be new items in the store as well. For a limited time, players can grab the Venom – Gummy Surprise Bundle and the Blade – Restful Recovery Bundle from November 28th to December 26th, and a Marvel Unlimited Bundle that drops on November 28th.

This isn’t the end of the Marvel Rivals Anniversary Celebration as Phase Two launches on December 4th, which will offer more rewards and another 200 Units!
