Season 7 of Marvel Rivals is going to shake up the meta like never before. Unlike Season 6.5, which had very few noticeable changes. This time, Season 7 is coming out swinging with every Ultimate getting a 20% charge nerf. Meaning generally all Ultimate abilities will take longer to build up, so make them count!
Marvel Rivals Season 7 Balance Changes
The majority of the listed changes target Ultimate charge rates. Other than that, here are the highlights for every role in Marvel Rivals Season 7.
Vanguard
The biggest changes for Vanguard are Deadpool (Vanguard) & Emma Frost’s Damage Reduction abilities are scaling down. Hulk gains 2 charges of Gamma Burst, and Magneto’s Ult has a higher projectile speed.

Duelist
Black Panther’s cooldown for his second jump when used off a wall has been removed. Blade’s lifesteal now grants bonus health if he is full HP, and his Ultimate applies the same buff, along with its healing reduction going from 20% to 40%.
Elsa Bloodstone losses less stacks on death. Iron Man’s Armor Overdrive’s active effect extends with each takedown. Human Torch now recovers all Fire Cluster ammo after not using Blaze Cluster for a second. Psylock gets more cooldown reduction & Scarlet Witch’s left click now has fall off, but does more damage up close.

Strategist
Gambit’s Ult is getting less Ultimate Ability charge acceleration and reduced movement speed, but the damage amp is going up. Luna Snow now gets cooldown reduction on her Ice Arts when someone with her snowflake gets a takedown.

Team-Up Changes
Team-Ups are barely getting changes in Season 7. Duality Dance and Jaff-nado are being removed, while new Team-Ups between White Fox & Luna Snow & Adam Warlock & Storm are being added.

Do you think these changes will shake up the meta enough, or will Marvel Rivals continue to be over-reliant on counter-ulting? In the meantime, keep an eye on our Other Games section for more updates.
