New Void Demon Hunter Options Revealed—But Did Blizzard Deliver?

It’s official—Demon Hunters are getting new customisation options in Patch 12.0.5. Players have been desperate for new void-themed options to match the new Devourer specialisation, and Blizzard has delivered—or have they?

Night Elves, Blood Elves, and Void Elves will all have access to new blue flame eyes, with updated blindfold options to match. And it doesn’t stop there. Demon Hunter races will also have access to flameless green and blue eye colours too.

Here are the new Demon Hunter customisation options coming in Patch 12.0.5

That’s right, you are not mistaken. You will be able to have green eyes on a Void Elf—and the community has already made their opinions known.

With these new customisation options, the visual lines between races are becoming increasingly blurred. A Void Elf Demon Hunter with green eyes and standard hair/skin tones now has nothing to distinguish itself from a Blood Elf. While more customisation options are great, players believe it is still necessary to preserve race identity—and these eyes cross the line.

The new eye colours are definitely a win—but we have not seen any evidence of void-coloured tattoos to match. We’re hoping Blizzard might surprise us again before Patch 12.0.5 launches!
