With 007 First Light now officially released worldwide, IO Interactive has launched a Twitch Drops campaign with a few pretty cool free cosmetics and rewards. You can basically unlock multiple items simply by watching streams in the 007 First Light category on Twitch.
All the Available Rewards
The current Twitch Drops include:
- Watch 1 hour for a Purple Suit outfit
- Watch 2 hours for a Silent Line outfit
- Watch official IOI Creators for a Resplendent Death reward
For the creator-exclusive reward, you basically need to watch partnered streamers, and you can find those by using the hashtag “IOICreator” in the Twitch search bar.
How to Claim the Rewards
To unlock the Twitch Drops, it is the usual system where you need to:
- Link your IOI account with Twitch
- Watch participating 007 First Light streams
- Claim the rewards through Twitch Drops
The campaign is already live alongside the game’s full release. Once you claim your rewards on Twitch, they should appear in-game for you.
Support a Streamer Campaign
On top of the normal Twitch Drops, IO Interactive also launched a Support a Streamer event. Those are not free, however. As always, to support a streamer, you need to gift a sub to someone in the 007 First Light category.
Anyone who purchases a Twitch subscription in the 007 First Light category before June 23 will unlock an exclusive Twitch Chat Badge. Sadly, this is all you obtain since there is no in-game item on top of it for this one.
Even if the Support a Streamer only rewards you with a Twitch badge, it is at least worth getting the 3 free outfits from the Twitch drops. Those 3 are completely free to get!
Keep in mind that when you watch a stream for drops, you need to not have that stream muted, and preferably on an active window as well. Twitch tends not to count you as a viewer if you mute the stream itself. You can, however, mute the tab or lower the sound to 1% only instead.
