Arknights: Endfield’s latest update is Version 1.5 “Dreamscape of Wind and Snow”! This version is constructed to be a delivery capsule for the newest operator to the Endfield roster, Typheous. Dreamscape of Wind and Snow releases on September 2nd, 2026.
New Area
Dreamscape of Wind and Snow will have players pursuing a distress signal from a forgotten friend of Valley IV into the snow capped mountains of Wuling to the north of the North Wuling Exclusion Zone. There, Endministrator will meet Typheous, a small woodland ranger deeply familiar with the terrain. Together, Endministrator and Typheous will search out the cause of the distress signal.

New Operator: Typheous
Typheous is a new 6-star Nature Striker joining the roster. She’s coming aboard as a Reconvener of the popular favorite from the original Arknights title, Typhon.
Typhon was a 6-star Sniper in that game. In Endfield, however, the systems aren’t in place for Snipers. As such, Typheous’ Compound Greatbow is a character-bound model, with the actual weapon she uses being an Arts Unit that she plugs into it.
Interestingly, Typheous is designed with ice-themed effects, but her array of skills are all Nature, rather than Cryo. As a Striker, she will consume Nature Inflictions to gain ammo gauge for her skills.

Operator Rerun
Yvonne is making her first rerun in a stand-alone banner! This rerun banner system is called the RE-Factor banner. The pity rules for these banners will mostly be the same, but there is one caveat. The 120 Hard Pity gets to carry over to future RE-Factor banners for the same operator.
As an example, if you rolled 30 times on this Yvonne RE-Factor banner, but the next RE-Factor banner is for Tangtang, then you will still be at 0 Pity. But eventually, once the next Yvonne RE-Factor banner arrives, you will start at 30 Pity.
Yvonne’s Weapon Arsenal banner will also rerun during this version update.

New 5-Star Welfare Operator!
The event called “Purry Big Feline! RAWR!“ runs on September 24th. This will allow players to acquire a new 5-star operator Purrchena and her signature weapon to full potential — all completely free! Culturally in the Arknights community, this would be known as Arknights: Endfield’s first true “Welfare Operator”.
Purrchena is a Physical Defender who features RNG mechanics throughout her kit. We’ll learn more about her soon!

New Event Editions
- AIC Support will be having a new iteration, asking players to craft Chubby Lungs at their Wuling AIC.
- Umbral Monument will get a new round featuring the Blightshades of Version 1.4.
- Echoes of War will be getting 2 new “seasons”.
Brand New Events
- Runners’ Steeplechase is a high-speed platformer! Go fast!
- Trial of the Bow is very specifically a Typheous activity, where you’ll play as Typheous in a 3rd-person shooter style to shoot targets using various trick arrows.

Wrapping Up
Put plainly, this version is entirely Typheous the Game. The version card is designed much like her card from Arknights. The font and even the Norse Rune elements are the same. The area we’re going to is thematically similar to the area she roamed in Arknights. Her banner has an extended run. Finally, she’s getting a whole special event dedicated to using her Compound Greatbow.
Typhon was a meta-defining character in her game. Let’s see if Typheous also inherits this!
