In the WoW Forever Beta, players are exploring the beautiful world of Azeroth once again. One of the newest additions to Vanilla Azeroth is the inclusion of Dalaran, without its signature pink bubble! While plenty of players are familiar with this ironic city of Mages, there are a couple of clues in this Sanctuary that could indicate new Professions coming in WoW Forever.
In the Magus Commerce Exchange, players can find Profession Trainers and vendors alike, but there are a couple of oddities that stick out, since they aren’t Professions that were included in Vanilla.
Jewelcrafting
On the back end of the Magus Commerce Exchange, players can find the Cartier & Co. Fine Jewelry store. This shop includes two NPCs who sell a variety of expensive rings, as well as a suspicious “Apprentice Jeweler” named Timothy Jones.

This is likely a reference to Lead Classic Designer, Tim Jones. However, this could also be the first clue that Blizzard is planning on bringing additional Professions to WoW Forever, starting with Jewelcrafting! While Timothy doesn’t provide training at the moment, he does have some interesting dialogue, which could indicate that he is willing to share his knowledge with players eventually.

Inscription
Similar to the Jewelry store, there also appears to be a storefront related to Inscription in Dalaran as well. However, unlike Cartier & Co., The Scribes’ Sacellum does not appear to have any employees at the moment.

Now, it is entirely possible that this store is just a remnant from this version of Dalaran being ported over from another version of the game. That would explain the inclusion of Professions such as Jewelcrafting and Inscription NPCs and stores. However, there is one additional piece of information that may point to Inscription coming later in WoW Forever: character statistics.

On the Character screen, players can select the final tab, which opens their character’s statistics. Scrolling down to the Professions section lists two extremely interesting statistics that will be tracked at some point:
- Highest Inscription skill
- Inscriptions learned
Interestingly, there is no mention of Jewelcrafting on this statistics panel, so it could be possible that the Inscription profession will become available sooner rather than later.
