When running through the new one-boss Unbinding of Kith’ix raid on Story Mode (no shaming here), did you find yourself staring at the magnificent wings that Lady Liadrin sprouts at the end of the boss fight? Did you then look at your own character with those same wings on and think to yourself “Why don’t my wings looks this cool when I pop Avenging Wrath on my paladin?”
Well, now they can! The new
Libram of the Matriarch Toy that drops from Kith’ix does just that! When used, it gives you an item called
Glyph of the Matriarch’s Wings (remember glyphs?), which in turn transforms the wings you get during
Avenging Wrath to look like the wings that Lady Liadrin shares with the raid in the Kith’ix encounter. This Glyph is only usable by Paladins, for obvious reasons.
The catch is that it only drops on Mythic difficulty.
But if you’re starting to stress about having to gear your Paladin alt to take on Kith’ix on the highest difficulty, you can relax. Since it’s the Glyph that is usable by Paladins only and not the Toy, it means that any class can loot the Libram of the Matriarch, learn it, and then log over to their Paladin and use the Toy to get the Glyph!
You’ll still have to defeat the encounter on Mythic though. So excuse me while I go learn the mechanics. To join me, learn everything you need to know about the new raid in our guide below.
