Blizzard have fixed several issues with the Invite-a-Friend codes. Players that were playing using one of the codes were having trouble with chat channels, leveling past 10, guilds, making parties, and even trading items. These issues have now been resolved. Affected players can grab the fix with a simple re-log.
With a hotfix that is now live, we’ve fixed an issue where players who joined WoW Forever by using an Invite-a-Friend Code were unexpectedly restricted from using certain chat channels, leveling past 10, participating in guilds, forming parties, or trading items with other players.
If you experienced this, you may wish to log out and back into WoW Forever.
Thank you!
