War Within Season 1 Mythic+ DPS Log Rankings, Week 10.5

We have a bit of an unscheduled stop into dungeons this week! Since the class tuning arrived on Tuesday/Wednesday, our usual mid-week look didn’t make much sense, so we decided to push it back so we get to see some of the tuning results. Mythic+ is usually much slower to move than the raids, and we very much see this being the case today.

Warcraft Logs Points

The below logs are based on POINTS, and not actual damage or healing. This means that they log the timed completion for the specs, with higher keys getting more points, obviously. The time in which the dungeon is completed is also a factor. It is a much, much smaller factor, granting only a few points for significantly faster completions compared to just any in-time finish. We’re also using the Normalized Aggregate Scores numbers, for clarity. This means that the top spec is marked as 100 and then the rest are ranked in relation to that peak point.

95th percentile DPS

The top percentiles either didn’t really register the tuning pass, or it’s still early to see the results, as nothing changed all the way down to 9th place! There we find Outlaw pushing past Survival, with the Hunter staying in front of Retribution, which takes down Destruction just outside the top 10.

All Percentiles

The generalist bracket has more changes for us, as the broader Mythic+ population did feel the tuning, at least somewhat. We see the shift in 4th place already, as Fire makes a big comeback after a long time away, surging a huge 7 spots. Survival is actually moving up here, gaining a spot and pushing in front of Assassination. Unholy, Elemental and Frost Mage grab the final 3 spots in the top 10, with Retribution sitting just outside, same as in the top percentiles. The bottom 3 remain the same, with Devastation and the two Hunters having a really bad time in dungeons.

Specific Keys

We’re also going to peek at some specific key levels, starting with +10s and ramping up. The top percentiles are all pretty perfectly lined up for the lower keys, as the players playing those specs do not fail. When we get to the 15s, however, you can see the drop-off even with the best players of the spec.

U.gg Raw DPS Rankings by Hero Talent Tree

Enhancement moves its way to the top in the raw DPS chart, and Unholy is right behind it, moving up quite a few spots. Balance remains stable in 3rd, same as Elemental in 4th. The Rogues switch spaces right after that, as Frost Mage pushes into 8th.
