Hunter player Durendil has shared three videos showcasing his solo runs of Mythic+ dungeons during The War Within Season 1. Known for tackling current content alone, he provided insight into his strategies and challenges. Below is a summary of his experience in each dungeon:
Mythic Stonevault Solo
Durendil found the trash in this dungeon manageable but described the bosses as difficult. he used the Silken Court tank trinket and defensive gems in Cyrce’s Circlet to increase survivability.
- E.D.N.A – The tankbuster mechanics caused frequent pet deaths. He relied on misdirection and adjusted strategies when his pet was unavailable.
- Skarmorax – This boss targeted Durendil directly with tankbusters. Managing the adds and shields extended the fight, requiring strong survivability.
- Master Machinists – Handling both bosses at once was difficulty, with heavy damage on his pet necessitating precise defensive rotations.
- Void Speaker Eirich – Durendil noted this boss as easy and straightforward.
Mythic Ara-Kara, City of Echoes Solo
While trash mobs required slow and careful handing to avoid overwhelming damage, Durendil managed to clear the dungeon on Mythic difficulty.
- Avanoxx – By clearing all trash beforehand, he simplified this encounter, focusing on kiting the adds.
- Anub’zekt – Although this boss dealt significant damage, it was manageable compared to Stonevault.
- Ki’katal the Harvester – Durendil found this fight straightforward, as the boss’s damage output was low.
Mythic Dawnbreaker Solo
Durendil also soloed Mythic Dawnbreaker, providing details about each boss:
- Speaker Shadowcrown – The healing absorption mechanics made this fight difficult. He used precise dispels and immunity timings to mitigate damage.
- Anub-ikkaj – Trash management was critical here, with adds proving dangerous to both Durendil and his pet.
- Rasha’nan – Phase 1 required cooldowns to manage high bursts of damage, while Phase 2 was easier to handle.
