Even though Ashes of Creation is still in Alpha Two, the community is already making the most of the game’s competitive potential. Over the last weekend of January, players organized an 8v8 PvP tournament, showing quite a few intense team fights and strategies in action!
What Happened?
The tournament was hosted by Polar and cast by well-known community members Crix and Lloyd. This event followed the success of last month’s intense 1v1 tournament, which featured a $500 prize pool and was organized by The Challengers team: Onlyblacksmoke, Crix, and Vhladus.
That last showdown had players battling it out solo, but this time, the stakes were even higher with 8v8 team fights. And it was not just the players who were invested, even Intrepid Studios developers tuned in to watch and show their support!

The Ashes of Creation competitive scene is just getting started! More tournaments are already in the works, including an international PvP event, leveling races, and even more ways for all of us players to test the game’s mechanics in high-stakes battles.
