New artifact set leaks for Genshin Impact Patch 5.5 have surfaced, revealing two exciting new artifact sets. These sets seem tailored for plunging attack playstyles and energy-less Cryo characters, sparking speculation about potential future characters that could take full advantage of them.
These leaks came from Narc1ssus who has leaked in the past, but as always take things with a grain of salt.
The first artifact set looks to be entirely focused on Plunging Attacks:
This set has immediate synergy with plunge-heavy characters, making it an excellent option for:
- Xiao – Already the strongest plunge attacker, this set could boost his overall DPS.
- Gaming – Known for his plunge-based playstyle, this set could further improve his potential.
- Diluc (Plunge Build) – While not his standard playstyle, this could make plunge builds viable.
- Hu Tao (Plunge Build) – Xianyun teams are some of Hu Tao’s best.
- Any characters who synergize with Xianyun – Since Xianyun boosts Plunging Attack capabilities, this artifact set is likely to complement any character who uses plunges. For example claymore characters who are weak in their traditional playstyle.
The second leaked artifact set for patch 5.5 is incredibly interesting, this increases Cryo DMG and provides huge buffs when theres 0 Energy.
This set provides interactions based on Energy levels, leading players to speculate that a future character will have an Energy system similar to Mavuika, who does not use traditional Energy particles. This has lead players to speculate who in the future could use this set:
- Capitano – A Fatui Harbinger, whose used Cryo in her fight with Mavuika.
- Skirk – Known as the mysterious mentor of Childe, has had leaks about potentially being Cryo.
- Columbina – Another Fatui Harbinger who has been speculated to have Cryo abilities and release in 5.x.
