Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 just launched into early access, and there is much more going on than just hitting the warehouse this time around! If you purchased the Deluxe Edition or own the Game Pass Ultimate, you can start skating today, July 8.
The early access build has a few secrets worth chasing, from weird unlock methods to crossover characters that you might not expect.
Early Access Starts Now (But Only for Some)
The official release is set for July 11, but players with:
- Deluxe Edition
- Game Pass Ultimate
…can start skating today, July 8. You can download the game now on Xbox and PC.
And it is not just the base game. Early access includes bonus characters, retro cosmetics, and even some unlocks that feel a little… sneaky.
Bam Margera Can Be Unlocked Without Skating?
As reported by Kotaku, Bam Margera (yes, the Jackass legend) is finally back in Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater, and unlocking him is easier than you might think. Weirdly enough, it does not even require skating.

Here is how it works:
- Head to the character select screen and choose a blank character slot (marked with a plus icon).
- Quickly create a new character – you do not even need to customize it.
- This unlocks a $5,000 in-game cash reward through a challenge.
- Open the challenge menu, claim the reward, then head to the shop’s Secrets tab.
- Bam Margera is waiting there for exactly $5,000.
The whole process takes about three minutes, and you never even touch your board. It honestly fits the chaotic energy of Bam perfectly.
Doom Slayer and the Revenant Are Playable
One of the wildest crossovers? Doom.
Both Doom Slayer and the Revenant are fully playable in THPS 3+4 for Deluxe and early access players.
They come with:
- Custom animations
- Doom-themed decks
- Soundtrack boosts (yes, there is metal)
It might be weird, but for some, it probably feels surprisingly natural to land a 720 mute grab with Doom Slayer while “Blood for the Blood God” plays in the background.
New Features, Classic Vibes
You are getting the full remake of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 and 4:
- Classic maps like Los Angeles, Airport, and Kona return
- New parks like Movie Studio and Pinball Plaza
- Fully rebuilt Create-A-Park mode
- Crossplay for up to 8 players
- New soundtrack mixing old tracks with new favorites
And yes: manuals, reverts, spine transfers, flatland tricks – it is all here.
What Are the Reviews Saying?
The early reviews are also already in, and Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 is landing great scores from some of the biggest gaming outlets:
- 8/10 – (IGN)
- 8/10 – (Game Informer)
- 8/10 – (GameSpot)
- 9/10 – (Screen Rant)

Oh – and Taco Bell Is Involved Somehow?
This is real: there is a Taco Bell collab.
If you order the Luxe Cravings Box through the app, you can get exclusive cosmetic unlocks and weekly gear drops through August. It is strange, but hey, so is the game.

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 is filled with tons of secrets, side content, and fun crossover weirdness. If you are jumping in early, maybe go try to find Bam, skate around as Doom Slayer, and perhaps order a Crunchwrap while you are at it.
