Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Reveal at Gamescom!

Exciting news for Call of Duty fans! Activision has confirmed that the worldwide reveal of Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 is set for Gamescom on Tuesday, August 19, at 11:00 a.m. PT!

The announcement was made by Geoff Keighley, host of Summer Game Fest, The Game Awards, and Opening Night Live at Gamescom, via X.

The first announcement for Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 came in the form of a teaser trailer, which premiered at the end of the Xbox Games Showcase in June.

The teaser confirmed the return of iconic protagonist David Mason, a key character from the campaign of Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, released back in 2012.

Black Ops 7 also marks one of the first true back-to-back sequels in the Call of Duty franchise, following the release of Black Ops 6. Typically, there’s a 2-3 year between sequels in the Call of Duty series, whether it’s from Black Ops, Modern Warfare, or a new title.

As of now, no further details have been revealed. But fans can expect a full gameplay showcase for Black Ops 7, with a look at the campaign, multiplayer, and hopefully, zombies as well.
