Two fan-favorite characters are getting fresh new looks in Genshin Impact Version 5.8. Bennett and Yelan both receive unique alternate outfits in the upcomming patch. Depending on how you get them, one of these is even free.
Bennett’s “Adventures in Blazing Hue” Outfit
Bennett’s new outfit, titled “Adventures in Blazing Hue,” trades his usual adventurer look for something more vibrant and modern while still being fitting for Benny’s adventure team. Dressed in spray-paint-stained top, a headband replacing the signature glasses, and a sleeveless hoodie, this version of Bennett looks ready for a creative summer in Natlan.
This outfit is being featured as a free reward in Version 5.8’s limited-time event “Sunspray Summer Resort.” Players who participate during the event window will be able to claim the outfit at no cost. However, if you miss the event, it won’t be gone forever. Once the event concludes, “Adventures in Blazing Hue” will be added to the Character Outfit Shop where it will be permanently available for 1,680 Genesis Crystals.
So if you want to grab it for free, you’ll need to log in and take part in the Version 5.8 event while it’s active. Otherwise, you’ll need to fork over premium currency once the version ends.
Yelan’s “Tranquil Banquet” Outfit
Yelan’s new outfit, “Tranquil Banquet,” is a sharp departure from her standard battlefield gear. With flowing fabrics, icy blues, and what seems to be a reference to her original jacket stolen from the Tsaritsa. As with all Genshin Skins, this outfit will have an in-game reason and purpose, Maybe Yelan is going undercover?
Unlike Bennett’s, Yelan’s skin won’t be free. “Tranquil Banquet” will be available for direct purchase in the Character Outfit Shop as soon as Version 5.8 goes live. During a limited-time launch sale, it’ll be discounted to 1,350 Genesis Crystals until September 8, 2025 at 03:59 server time. After that, it will return to the standard price of 1,680 Genesis Crystals.
