Infinity Nikki’s Version 1.8 livestream revealed all the new upcoming content! From a stunning new area, to plenty of outfits that will make your brain go “yes please”, there is a ton to discover! Here is a full breakdown of what is coming with 1.8!

Welcome to Danqing Island
A new side area inspired by Chinese cultural heritage will be explorable after 1.8! It is important to note that this part will not be tied to the main story, it is just part of a side story. But still really cool, and it looks really incredible! You can expect:
- Think bamboo forests, autumn trees, delicate florals, and very dreamy Chinese traditional vibes.
- 2D Puzzle Mechanic:
- Nikki gets a new “Purification” outfit to restore flattened 2D objects into 3D reality. This adds some really nice mechanics.
- Boat Exploration:
- It is time for stylists to set sail solo or with a friend around the island!
- Side-scroller Platforming:
- Some new platformer activity.
- Mini-games & Collectibles:
- Expect Whim Stars, Juice, little critters, and more!
- New Bosses:
- Mini-boss: A sort of drum–asked enemy.
- Main Boss: A magical scroll dragon, and yes, it literally comes out from a scroll.
New Gacha Banners
Two new myth-inspired outfits, Cat and Dragon, are coming! And there is a new “Alternative Version” system too. After pulling all 4 evolutions (so a total of roughly 400 pulls), you unlock extra makeup and visuals!
- Cat-Inspired Set
- Based on a protective shape-shifting spirit
- Includes claws, ears, and tail (though the tail might only be visual)
- Evolutions:
- Red/pink – Gold/brown – Purple/red – Lilac blue/white
- Alt Version: Glowing, tail-less form with iconic dual-colored eyes
- Ability Outfit:
- Purification type: Launches enemies, slams them down
- Transformation dash: Fox form, longer fox form, aerial attacks
- Animation unlocks at 160 pulls
- Cat-Themed 4★
- Healing zone that restores 1HP/sec (not great for tough fights though)
- Evolutions:
- Light blue – Green – Purple variants
- Dragon-Inspired Set
- Inspired by Chinese dragons
- Glowing accessories, horns, mountain motifs
- Evolutions:
- White/black – Blue/pink – Gold – Red
- Alt Version:
- Gradient horns, glowing aura
- Red-eye makeup with deep red lips
- Ability Outfit:
- Rideable dragon mount (Island-only)
- Flight with dash/double dash
- Friend-compatible rides!
- Dragon-Themed 4★
- Creates a poison zone that gives Nikki a cosmetic effect
- No combat utility, just style
- Comes in Purple/Dark, Red/White, Mint/Pink versions
- Free 4★ Outfits
- One from Heart of Infinity, one from an upcoming event
