The following post covers Phase Diving, a main outdoor feature available to players in Patch 11.2: Ghosts of K’aresh!
What is Phase Diving?
Phase Diving is a feature introduced in Patch 11.2 that lets you explore an alternate version of K’aresh called Untethered Space. This is practically an additional layer of content (world quests, mobs, treasure chests) placed on top of the zone.
How to Unlock Phase Diving
You unlock Phase Diving during the third chapter of K’aresh campaign as you unlock your Reshii Wraps.
You cannot participate in Phase Diving without the cloak, and we recommend you to check out our guide to learn more about it.

Once you complete the intro quest, you will be ready to start Phase Diving!
You start Phase Diving by interacting with Phase Conduits scattered across K’aresh.
Right-clicking the conduit will start a short spell cast. When it finishes, your character will receive the 
Phase Diving buff. Your character becomes translucent and the corners of your screen will also display ethereal-like elements, which means you’re Phase Diving!
During Phase Diving, you can’t use mounts, but your char moves at a +150% Movement Speed. Mounts can be used only when you upgrade your Reshii Wraps!
While Phase Diving, you will gain access to unique content such as world quests or mobs!
Phase Conduits
Phase Conduits are used to:
- Enter Phase Diving.
- Leave Phase Diving.
- Instantly travel between waypoints in K’aresh.
When you interact with a Phase Conduit while Phase Diving, you will see all “flight paths” across K’aresh that you can take! There are multiple Phase Conduits in the zone, as you can see on the map below.
Phase Diving Weekly Quest
There’s a Phase Diving weekly quest you can pick up called More Than Just a Phase at Overlook Zo’Shul in K’aresh by talking to Shad’anis.
- To complete the quest, you must participate in Phase Diving activities. Participating in any activity in Untethered Space will grant credit toward the weekly quest.
- The quest rewards reputation with the K’aresh Turst and 7
Untethered Coins!
Phase Diving Currency
Sha’danis is the Phase Diving Merchant found in Overlook Zo’Shul who sells various items in exchange for Untethered Coins!
Notable Rewards
Below, we cover some of the most notable rewards you can grab by participating in Phase Diving.
Lavender K’arroc (mount) – Costs 10 coins.
Acidic Void Creeper (mount)- Costs 7 coins.
Penumbral Terror (pet) – Costs 4 coins.
You can also grab various transmog sets from the vendor for 5 coins each.
Ensemble: Untethered Striker’s Gear
Ensemble: Untethered Captain’s Full-Plate
Ensemble: Untethered Seer’s Vestiture
Ensemble: Untethered Blade’s Garb
You can buy matching cloak appearances for the outdoor sets via Ensemble: Ancient Capes of the Reshii for 5 coins.
Finally, additional shoulder armor pieces are available for the Seer sets learned via 
Ensemble: Shoulderguards of the Wastelander Seer, which costs 5 coins!
