HoYoverse just ended the Zenless Zone Zero Version 2.6 Special Program, and the update itself is full of new content, Agents, generous rewards, and more! For those who have been saving up for the Angels of Delusions, they are finally here, and you can get ready for some amazing squads and content with them!

Version 2.6 – Encore for an Old Dream
During the stream, the new trailer for version 2.6 was released, and it clearly indicates where the story is heading this time!
The Gilded Carrot celebration is about to start, and the Proxies will have a lot to do because someone is trying to ruin the festivities and is planning things in the shadows. But Fairy prepared the holidays carefully, and it is time for you to watch the Angels of Delusion live!
Participate in the Encore for an Old Dream Season 2 Interlude story mission and discover what is going on during your well-deserved holidays!

Winter Free Goodies
Hoyoverse has prepared a ton of freebies for all the Proxies to celebrate the launch of the Angels of Delusion! Here is everything you can obtain for free:

Version 2.6 Banners and Signal Searches
The new banners will start soon, and here are all the agents you will be able to pull for in the next few weeks! As always, they all come with their Signature W-Engine as well:
- Sunna – Physical Support Agent – Phase 1 Banner
- Offers unique assistance for her Attack and Anomaly teammates
- Summon Bubblegum to provide support and switch back to your DPS
- Bubblegum will put the whole squad into the Angelic Chord-ination state. During that time, if you launch any Special attack with another Agent, Sunna will launch coordinated attacks on targets alongside Bubblegum, activating Ether Veil and boosting everyone’s ATK
- Bubblegum stays on-field even if you swap Sunna off-field
- Aria – Ether Anomaly Agent – Phase 2 Banner
- During the fight, a lot of glowsticks will be around the battlefield, cheering Aria on, accumulating Fandom Power that can be absorbed to deal more damage
- If her Charged Basic Attack hits a target afflicted with any Attribute Anomaly, it triggers Abloom, increasing her damage
- Charge her Basic Attack to launch a powerful downward attack
The Angels of Delusion also come with their dedicated new Bangboo! When there are at elast 2 Angels of Delusion in the team, it will boost the whole Squad’s ATK and continuously restore HP for the Agents.
Of course, each phase also brings back previous Agents! During version 2.6, you can also obtain the following Agents and their signature W-Engines:
New Outfits
After the version 2.6 update, you will have the possibility to obtain Sunna’s new outfit called “Afternoon Tea Break.” This outfit will only be available for purchase in the shop.
Sunna is not the only Angel that comes with an outfit! Aria will have her own skin as well, “Discordant Note.” This one will release in the shop once her banner is here in Phase 2.
Agents Enhancements
For 2.6 another set of Agents are getting a few well-deserved buffs and improved abilities:
New Events in Version 2.6
Several new events will roll out throughout the version:
- A Harmony of Delusions – New Eridu’s Rising Star has begun! Join the Angels of Delusion and witness… All the possibilities for the future, starting with this single spotlight.
- This event will reward you with a horse head for your Proxie and a skin for Pan Yinhu
- Stacking Fortune – New year Event. Fireworks, lanterns, lucky carps, and the good fortune of the new year are just waiting to be unleashed. Spend this golden festival with the people who matter most!
- Gravitational Storytime – A great movie buddy is all you need! And yes, you can even invite Sweety from Yum Cha Sin’s
- Snap! Hollow Realm Showdown – The King who makes even Ethereals tremble has arrived! Time to take battle pictures again!
- Angels of Delusion Training in Progress – Spend 5 weeks of training time with the Angels of Delusions as Fairy is helping them improve! This event is already available in the game
- Threshold Simulation: Myriad Endgame – Combat Event
- Usual Double Rewards Events for materials
- High Score Card Collector – Participate in VR Combat to obtain Stamp Seals. Collect those to flip cards for rewards
Additional Content
During version 2.6 you can also expect the following additions or changes:
- New Agent avatars, trust events, and dynamic wallpapers
- New Hollow Zero mode – Operation Matrix
- Different themed stages each week, with a variety of challenges and fun mechanics
- Agents are divided into two categories: Primary and Auxiliary
- Primary is your main squad, and auxiliary will not be displayed in the squad configuration, but you can press the Auxiliary button when the charge is full for them to launch their Auxiliary Assist
- Primary Agents can be trial Agents, but Auxiliary Agents have to be Agents you actually own
- Tactical Prism Program for Sunna and Aria
- Hollow Zero UI optimization
- Added a Quick-Sweep function for Hollwo Zero, allowing you to directly clean a stage with Deep Cleaning Service Cards
- Camera system adjustments with new frames
- Optimized challenge result screen – option added to speed up the cutscene
- Optimized HDD UI
- Compendium training tab added
Version 2.6 will be full of amazing content and a ton of free rewards for Zenless Zone Zero players! Between the new main story chapter, events, and the idols finally joining the squad, it feels like the game is heading in the best direction possible!
