Introduction
The people who attended BlizzCon 2026 in person were able to take a survey about the future of Heroes of the Storm.
Survey
The survey had various questions about possible new content, from new Heroes to new Game Modes.
In this picture that was shared on Reddit we can see the following questions about the game.
How interested are you in each of the following gameplay additions in Heroes of the Storm?
Auto Battler Mode: A strategic Game Mode where you combine Heroes of the Storm characters and equip them with items to automatically fight the opposing team.
Ranked ARAM: A Ranked Mode for the ARAM (All Random All Mid) Game Mode that we already have.
Battle Pass: A reward system that allows players to unlock Gold, Cosmetics, Boosts, etc… for playing Heroes of the Storm. Includes a free track and a purchasable premium track.
Battle Royal Mode: A winner-takes-all Game Mode where you or a group of friends fight in a large Map against other players until there is only one player or team left standing.
New Maps: New Maps in Quick Match or Ranked with new Objectives and themes.
PVE Mode: A Game Mode where you and a team of players fight 5 vs 5 against AI-controlled Heroes that continue to grow in power as you win matches.
New Events: Events that offer a thematic experience in terms of Quests that players can complete and Cosmetics you can earn and purchase.
The voting options were ranging from Not At All Interested to Extremely Interested, with 5 options in total.
The survey continued with a question about potential new Heroes we would like to see.

The final question was to suggest the addition of 3 new Heroes that were not listed.
