A new patch was released earlier today, bringing several bug fixes and Quality-of-Life (QoL) improvements, with more updates scheduled for tomorrow. Let’s take a look at what is new!
Brighter Shores, the new point-and-click RPG from RuneScape creator Andrew Gower, offers a world filled with adventure, magic, and a strong focus on leveling multiple professions as well as your character. Though the game is currently in early access, it already received another batch of various small updates just hours ago:
- The “Prepare for battle” interface now indicates the exact reward penalty for fighting low level enemies.
- Combat against low-level foes has been slightly modified to make sure that it is not overpowered.
- Crime Den Raids now require handcuffs, and upgrading your handcuffs provides the expected XP boost.
- Bogus stats from passive combat NPC cards have been removed.
- A bug was fixed that affected combat toad drops.
- The ‘divide by zero’ error that occurred during combat was resolved.
- Bugfix of the XP amount for detective investigations; the update now matches the notification following Saturday’s update.
- Spelling mistake on one of the adathril cards was corrected.
- Fixes for various instances where “is is” was written accidentally.
- Minor improvements to the chat filter.
- Fixed the appearance of the map interface for “mine road east”.
- The issue with co-op woodcutting XP was addressed (this was actually fixed last Friday but was not mentioned).
