Burning Crusade Classic Phase 2 Now Live: Here's What to Expect

Phase 2 of The Burning Crusade Anniversary Classic comes out today, bringing with it new raids, daily hubs, and more!

Phase 2 brings new raids and new daily quest hubs:

- Serpentshrine Cavern (Lady Vashj)

Note that players looking for PvP Season 2 will need to wait a couple more days. PvP Season 2 starts with the next weekly reset in each region.

Serpentshrine Cavern

Venture into the depths of the Coilfang Reservoir in Zangarmarsh to defeat Lady Vashj and her minions. Serpentshrine Cavern contains 6 bosses total and offers Tier 5 loot, with tokens dropping from Leotheras the Blind, Fathom-Lord Karathress, and Lady Vashj herself.

Note that you must be attuned to enter Serpentshrine Cavern. New to Anniversary realms is that raid attunements are account-wide, so you only need to complete each attunement once.

Tempest Keep

Face off against Kael’thas Sunstrider and his loyalists to end their plans to harness the chaotic energies of Netherstorm. Tempest Keep contains 4 bosses total and offers Tier 5 loot as well, with tokens dropping from Void Reaver and Kael’thas Sunstrider himself. Kael’thas also has a small chance of dropping the elusive Ashes of Al’ar mount.

Similar to SSC, you must be attuned to enter Tempest Keep, obtaining The Tempest Key. With attunements being account-wide, you only need to complete this questline once if you’re raiding with multiple characters.

New Daily Hubs

Looking for more daily content? Phase 2 adds the Sha’tari Skyguard and Ogri’la daily hubs to Terrokar Forest and Blade’s Edge Mountains, respectively.

Reaching Exalted with Ogri’la unlocks access to the following items:

Crystalline Crossbow
Shard-bound Bracers
Vortex Walking Boots
Crystal Orb of Enlightenment

Ogri’la Reputation Guide

Reaching Exalted with Sha’tari Skyguard unlocks access to the Riding Nether Ray mounts and the following items:

Skyguard Silver Cross
Airman’s Ribbon of Gallantry

Swift Flight Form Questline for Druids

Druid players can finally stop using their slow flying form and obtain the new Swift Flight Form. This form is locked behind a rather lengthy questline, culminating in unlocking the ability for the Druid to summon Anzu, the extra boss in Heroic Sethekk Halls.

Since the questline requires you to do Heroic Sethekk Halls, you must have enough reputation with Lower City to enter the Heroic version of the dungeon.

Druid Swift Flight Form Guide

With this, players can now farm the coveted Reins of the Raven Lord, which have a small chance to drop when defeating Anzu, the extra boss summoned by Druids.
