With the launch of Neverness to Everness, players got access to the first Circle Bounty (NTE’s Battle Pass), giving players a plethora of rewards such as Dice for the Gacha system or materials to upgrade characters. As with most Gacha battle passes, there are both free and paid versions. In the paid version at level 30, you gain access to the Arc-light Trove, allowing you to select from 1 of the 5 exclusive Fluff series S-rank Arcs — but be careful! This choice is much different than most Gacha games.

NTE Weapons are a Little Different From Others…
Unlike other Gacha games, NTE has been very generous with giving out strong Arcs for free. Through playing the game, you can earn the signature Arc of every Standard S-rank Agent through
- Anomaly commissions
- A powerful S-rank option for Zero through a small quest
- A maxed-out Arc for Chiz through City Tycoon
- And many more!
With all these great free options, it raises the question of who should even get the battle pass weapons. 👀 The following will tell you a little about the different Arcs and who you might want to use them on:
The Fluff Series of Arcs
Fluff of Fearlessness

The Fluff of Fearlessness is a Solid type Arc providing a strong base attack, a CRIT Rate sub stat, and an ATK increase after using an Ultimate.
While it is great on any of the available Solid type Espers, there is currently only one character who benefits the most from Fluff of Fearlessness: the limited S-rank Hotori. Unlike the other three Solid Espers, you can only get her best Arc through the limited-time Arc banner. As such, the Fluff of Fearlessness is a great alternative if you don’t want to use your limited Tri-Keys just yet.
Fluff of Ferocity

The Fluff of Ferocity is a Synthesis type Arc working with any Synthesis character. It provides a strong Attack-boosting sub stat and a CRIT Damage increase.
Baicang is a great Fluff of Ferocity user as it synergizes well with his kit. However, with his Signature Arc being available for free, it is not the best option for him.
The other two Synthesis characters, Fadia and Adler, are also not great options, as their Skills and Ultimates scale with something other than Attack. It’s recommended not to choose this Arc over the others for that reason.
Fluff of Finesse

Fluff of Finesse is a Gas type Arc that provides an ATK% sub stat and a damage increase after a Critical Dodge.
While this Arc is a good option for the three Gas Espers in-game — Chiz, Sakiri, and Skia — Fluff of Finesse is similar to Fluff of Ferocity; there are better free options for the characters, and it is probably not worth getting unless you absolutely need an extra Arc.
Fluff of Fleetness

Thankfully, the Fluff of Fleetness works well with any Liquid Esper. This Arc provides a strong CRIT DMG sub stat and an ATK increase while the character is on field.
This Arc has one character that it is very useful on right now, and likely an upcoming character as well. The first character is Mint, a free A-rank character. As an on-field DPS, Mint can make the most out of Fluff of Fleetness’s effect and benefits greatly from the CRIT DMG boost.
The other great option for this Arc is the upcoming 1.1 character Lacrimosa. As a limited-time character, her signature Arc will only be available on the limited-time Arc banner, so if you plan to pull for her and not her Arc, this is a great alternative.
Fluff of Fortitude

The Fluff of Fortitude is a good option for most Plasma Characters, providing an ATK% sub stat and a damage increasing Arc effect.
There is one character that this Arc is better for than any available free alternative: Nanally. If you didn’t get her signature Arc during her banner, this is a great option since she can make full use of the ATK and DMG increases as a Main DPS character.
So Which Arc Should You Choose?
Ultimately, the choice is yours and is very much dependent on the teams you have, or the characters you plan to get in the future. But it should be rather clear that the Fluff Arc series tend to be great alternatives for any limited-time S-rank Espers, or potentially for some A-rank Espers who don’t have other good S-rank Arc options. For Standard S-rank characters, you should consider picking up the free alternatives permanently available in-game.
