In a surprising turn of events, Valve’s Dota 2 is getting a crossover with Monster Hunter. This crossover is coming with new sets, new pets, a new in-game hunt and crafting system, and, of course, monsters. Yes, that means that Dragon Knight can now finally turn into Rathalos.
Dota 2 x Monster Hunter

That’s right, Dota 2 fans are getting six Monster Hunter item sets. Each brings a classic Monster Hunter armor set into Dota 2, and each has three craftable alternate versions. The core version of each hero set is available to all Dota players for free, and can be crafted once you’ve harvested the necessary materials gained from hero hunts.
Of course, this crossover wouldn’t be complete without everyone’s favorite Palico companion. There will also be a new Palico courier with craftable costumes, and even your very own pet Poogie with craftable outfits as well.
The Hero Atlas will help you track your progress, gather dispatches from offset realms, and explore hero lore, via Axe’s loyal scribe Goodkind.
The Expedition Pack

For those who want the most out of this crossover, there are some extra goodies you can grab. The Expedition Pack includes Rathalos for Dragon Knight and the Bullfango for Beastmaster, a Monster Hunter music pack and seasonal spray collection, and a bundle of crafting materials. Expedition Pack holders can also craft exclusive Poogie, Palico, and hero set variants with custom ambient and Immortal effects.
But be quick, you don’t want to miss out! The Dota 2 x Monster Hunter crossover will run for the next three months, so grab everything while you can before the hunt ends!
