Elden Ring Nightreign: July’s Double Everdark Boss Rotation

Every week, Elden Ring: Nightreign introduces a new Everdark Sovereign for us to fight, but July does not add any new bosses to the rotation. Each week, players will face two of the deadly bosses instead of one.

Which Everdark Bosses You’re Facing Each Week in July

Here is the full breakdown of who you’ll be fighting against week by week:

  • July 10 – July 17 – Gaping Jaw, Darkdrift Knight
  • July 17 – July 24 – Sentient Pest, Darkdrift Knight
  • July 24 – July 31 – Gaping Jaw, Sentient Pest

No new Everdark bosses are joining the fray this month, which means you’ll be seeing familiar names. But with two bosses in play each week, you have some flexibility, especially useful if you’re tired of fighting the Sentient Pest for the hundredth time.

What Are Everdark Sovereigns?

Everdark Sovereigns are upgraded versions of the standard third-day bosses. They start in their second phase, come with expanded movesets, deal more damage, and pack more health. Thankfully, their core weaknesses stay the same, so studying their base forms can still give you an edge.

What Are the Rewards for Defeating Everdark Sovereigns?

Defeating an Everdark Sovereign grants you a new currency called Sovereign Sigils. When you defeat a boss in its Everdark form for the first time, you earn 25 Sovereign Sigils. However, for all subsequent defeats, you’ll only receive 5 Sovereign Sigils. It’s important to save and spend them wisely, as the initial 20-Sigil bonus is a one-time reward—even if the boss appears again weeks later, you’ll still only get 5 Sigils per kill after your first successful encounter.

Once you’ve defeated an Everdark Sovereign, you unlock the Collector Signboard. This allows you to purchase enhanced Boss Relics, character-specific Relics, and cosmetics, and it grants you the ability to manipulate the earth, which can trigger one of several specific events in your next run.

Among the items available at the Collector Signboard, we highly recommend prioritizing the enhanced Boss Relics. If you play Executor, consider acquiring the Dark Night of the Champion’s Relic. If you’re playing magic-focused characters like Recluse or Revenant, opt for the Dark Night of the Wise. For physical damage-oriented characters like Raider or Wylder, the Dark Night of the Baron would be a great choice.

When Can We Expect New Everdark Sovereigns?

Tricephalos, Augur, Equilibrious Beast, and Fissure in the Fog are the next bosses set to become Everdark Sovereigns. However, the order in which they’ll be released, and their specific dates, have not yet been announced.
