The Battle of Imagined Arrays event is soon to be underway in Genshin Impact, running from June 20th until July 7th. The event introduces two major gameplay modes- Fruit Supplement Survey and Companion Caper Chronicles.
To participate, players must be Adventure Rank 20 or higher and have completed the Archon Quest Prologue: Act III “Song of the Dragon and Freedom.”
Unlock a Free Sethos and Other Rewards
By completing event objectives on both modes, you will be able to gain a free copy of Sethos, an Electro Bow user completely for free. Other rewards include Primogems, Crown of Insight, Talent Materials and more.
Companion Caper Chronicles
This game mode is a tile-based strategy mode where you guide Paimon and a team of recruited “Companion Pieces” through randomized adventure scenarios. Choices matter- you’ll face encounters ranging from bizarre alchemists and fungi allies to card duels in the jungle (modifiers for each round).
Combat revolves around positioning your units and equipping them with Model Equipment, then sending them into automated battles against enemies on a board. You can spend Adventure Coins to buy new units and upgrades as you progress, and duplicate units let you upgrade their tier.
The more duplicate units you gather, the more powerful your team becomes. However, failing battles reduces your simulation HP, ending the run when it hits zero.
You’ll also collect Speculative Records that level up your Speculation Level, which grants permanent buffs for this game mode.
Fruit Supplement Survey
A more puzzle-focused mini-game, Fruit Supplement Survey tasks you with connecting fruit of the same color to collect them across a grid, a classic game. Using Paimon as the starting point, you’ll trace a route through matching fruit in eight directions to clear stages efficiently.
Special Tri-Color Fruit Jellies appear as bonus objectives, allowing you to swap colors mid-route. Later stages increase complexity by adding new mechanics, like moving obstacles and fruit-eating weasels.
