Well met, Warriors of Light! At long last, we have some Blue Mage news! Except not quite what you’re all hoping for… Sorry!
With Patch 7.5 releasing on Tuesday, April 28, limited jobs will only be able to accept job quests for that limited job and quests available to all jobs and classes.
You won’t be able to proceed with certain allied society quests that are quest synced and require you to stay on the same job or class to complete. Make sure you turn in all pending quests before the patch hits! If you’ve been leveling Blue Mage through society quests, you may want to consider overworld mobs instead.
Masked Carnivale Extravaganza
If you love playing Blue Mage and want some help with the Masked Carnivale weekly challenges, look no further than Reddit user ArtenXev! Every week, they diligently share both a ‘free trial’ guide that includes the first 104 spells and another using all current spells. Make sure to send some love if they’ve helped you nab some easy Allied Seals!
When Are We Getting Blue Mage Updates?
Unfortunately, we won’t be getting Blue Mage updates in 7.x. Beastmaster, our upcoming limited job in 7.5x, has devoured all the resources and cost allotted for limited job development. Apologies have been issued, but so have promises that Blue Mage updates are still on the table. Until then, keep an eye out for when you can catch a Behemoth and rain fiery meatballs on your enemies!
