Count your lucky kupo nuts! There has been no change to the patch release schedule. Patch 7.5 will release on Tuesday, April 28th, 2026.
Of particular note, even though the Main Scenario Quests have been split into two parts, we’re assured that the volume of the story in each part did not suffer for it! We can think about it as two regular MSQ patches.

Ultimate Raid: Still technically (???)
For the Ultimate Raid, we’re still officially in (secret) and (???) territory without any official art or names. However, you may have noticed a familiar face at the end of the trailer. Perhaps they’ll stop clowning around when they give us more details at Fan Fest next Friday, April 24th!

New Alliance Raid! Windurst: The Third Walk

We got an initial look at the start of the newest Alliance Raid, Windurst: The Third Walk. With pangs of nostalgia for FFXI players and some optional reading along the way, we make our way to Shantotto the Demon as the first boss. This time everyone wants to stand in the Black Mage‘s Ley Lines.

Take a look at the gear sets below! Don’t worry about your tails being stuffed somewhere uncomfortably as they should still be displayed as normal. Feel free to get creative as they’re also dyeable!

PvP: New Crystalline Conflict Arena, Archeia Harmonias

This new PvP Crystalline Conflict map features some new glyphs to play with. Placed conveniently close to your starting point, this Healing Glyph will help you take a breather if your opponents are breathing down your neck! Enjoy taking 50% less damage and recover HP over time.

Details on the Aetherometer are as follows:
- A new type of checkpoint, located halfway between the centerpoint and each team’s checkpoint. The tactical crystal makes a stop at the aetherometer
- If the advancing team remains within the crystal’s ring, the aetherometer will begin to charge. When the aether index reaches 100%, the tactical crystal can once again be moved. Make sure somebody from your team stays in the ring or risk the progress resetting instead of pausing.
- If two opposing team players are standing in the ring, the progress also resets.
- Once fully charged, an aetherial bridge and jump glyph will appear

Quickly get back into the battle with these handy Jump Glyphs that act as a shortcut. After all, you don’t want to be knackered before you start fighting again.

Sightseeing, Glamour Dresser Update, Crafting QoL, Chocobo Changes

Sightseeing just got a lot easier! When approaching a sightseeing vista, the system message log can now display what emote is required to complete it. Additionally, the system message will also let you know if the weather requirements have not been met.
Rejoice, dungeon gear hoarders! The glamour dresser can now store dungeon gear from 3.0 onward as outfit glamours. You can also remove individual pieces from outfit glamours easily.

Some long overdue crafting QoL is on its way. Due to A Realm Reborn code jank, it took a while to safely get these changes through but at least they’re finally here! The cries of relief and joy while we watched this section were cathartic.

Your faithful Companion Chocobo is finally getting some love! Enjoy some new animations corresponding to your companion’s rank. Also, your feathered friend will now react to “pet” and “poke” emotes! Stay tuned, as they’re working on more chocobo updates.
We’ve also got some new UI Color Schemes on the way. Set it to a pleasant flashbang Clear Pink or a cool Clear Grey.
New Limited Job: Beastmaster

There is simply way too much ground to cover for Beastmaster, so we decided to separate it into its own article. Make sure to head over there if you want to find out what else we learned about the job today!
Until then, take your guesses on why the following beast is entry No. 1 in our Bestiary!

Phantom Weapons Final Stage Showcase

Already expecting people to datamine the Phantom Weapons for their final model, we got an in-game showcase for a selection of them! Take a look at the Astrologian‘s astrometer below.
If you’d also like to see the Black Mage, Paladin, Dragoon, and Bard weapons look like, feel free to check out their in-game showcase that we’ve timestamped for you!

Mounts: Omega Fist, Enuo Wings, Wings of Legacy, Toucan, Platypus Porter, Motorcycle
We got an in-game preview on a variety of mounts! Though we don’t know the source of each of them, we can at least admire how great all of them look.
Is that a bird? An airplane? No! It’s an Omega Fist Mount! Surf through the skies and try not to punch any stray birds you come across.

Another trial will be arriving with Patch 7.5 so of course there is a matching Extreme mount. We don’t have much context on the Enuo trial, but you can certainly tell these wings are inspired by them!

Since the wings above are our last set of Extreme trial mounts this expansion, we finally have a reveal on the mount you can obtain for possessing all of them! Feast your eyes on the Wings of Legacy!

The following bird brings to mind the Dawntrail A-rank Pkuucha. Or maybe the birds bullying that one guy in a critical engagement in the South Horn.

We’ve also got this Platypus Porter doing its best to carry you. I can’t even begin to imagine how a Hrothgar using this mount may look. For its sake, I hope it scales to player model size.

Last but not least, we’ve got another motorcycle, similar to the ones driven around Solution 9. The wheels split to the side to become downward propellers when you take off flying!

Incoming New Glamour Options

We don’t have too many showcased here for now, but we’ve got a variety of outfits and glamours on their way. Keep your eyes peeled on how to obtain each of them! If I were to hazard a guess, the middle outfit could be from Cosmic Exploration.
That’s all the big content and reward information we have for you in this 92nd PLL Recap! We’ll be sure to cover everything about the Beastmaster and the updates concerning the Fan Festivals, so keep an eye out over at Icy Veins!
