Yumemizuki Mizuki – The New Anemo 5 Star

Yumemizuki Mizuki is the new 5-star Anemo Catalyst character introduced in this patch. Her kit revolves around enhancing Swirl reactions, providing strong crowd control, and amplifying elemental damage for her team. While her utility is solid, Mizuki’s inclusion in the Standard Banner significantly impacts her pull value. Historically, Standard Banner characters tend to be slightly weaker compared to limited-banner counterparts, and you’re likely to obtain her later when losing 50/50 pulls.

That being said, Standard Banner characters gain power over time from your misfortune. Getting Mizuki to C0 while she can be guaranteed allows you to gain further constellations over time while you pull for other characters.

Mizuki’s weapon also may not be available for a very long time after her banner. Much like Dehya’s weapon following her release which never returned until a Chronicled Wish banner. This is another important consideration to have if you are a Mizuki fan.

Is Furina Still Worth It?

While Natlan has released a range of powerful units, Furina is still the must-pull character of Patch 5.4. With her incredible damage output and unparalleled party buffs, Furina dominates both as a Sub-DPS and as a flexible support unit. Her kit seamlessly fits into many team compositions, making her a long-term investment for players who want versatility and power. Whether you’re building reaction-heavy teams or straightforward hypercarries, Furina is a game-changer.

Should You Pull for Wriothesly or Sigewinne?

Wriothesley is a strong Cryo DPS character, designed for players who want consistent Cryo damage output as a result of being a Catalyst character. However, the current state of Cryo as an element in Genshin Impact’s meta has been lackluster compared to other elements. Wriothesley’s kit is solid and more than capable of dealing good numbers, especially if you still need a Cryo DPS. Wriothesley’s C1 is also a great pick for fans of the character as it provides a significant amount of quality of life.

Sigewinne on the other hand is a Hydro healer who thrives in teams built around Furina. However, Furina’s best teams do not rely on Sigewinne, while Sigewinne’s strongest teams want Furina. This makes Sigewinne a great complementary pull, but she’s not a necessity unless you’re already planning to get Furina or already pulled the Archon on other banners.

Final Patch 5.4 Pull Recommendations

Ultimately, as is always the case with Banner recommendations pull for the characters you like!

Furina stands out as the highlight of Patch 5.4’s banners and provides an incredible amount of long-term investment. The meta pick is clearly Furina or even her early constellations. On the other hand, Yumemizuki Mizuki may not appear for a very long time depending on who you lose your 50/50’s to and if you plan to pull on an Inazuman Chronicled Wish in the future.
