The 6th version update since Arknights: Endfield‘s launch is here. It’s time for the Endministrator to take some much-needed R&R under the tender loving care of the 13th Sui Proxy, Si. Pick up the brush and see what’s in the version update [Sanctuary of Ink]!
NEW OPERATORS!
Endfield adds two new operators to Version 1.6: the 13th Sui Proxy, Si, and an Imperial Guard from Hongshan, Argent Flow.
Si
Si is the 13th Proxy of the Feranmut Sui, though her circumstances differ from her family’s.
Her role is Cryo Support, but she’s compatible with other elements — particularly Heat. Her Battle Skill applies “Artful Intent” to the target, which stores a copy of the damage dealt, then explodes at the end of its duration, repeating that damage. It also applies an “Infliction” of the same element as the Team Leader.
Her Combo Skill triggers when she consumes Heat or Cryo Inflictions. It’s a big hit that scales with how many Cryo or Heat Inflictions were consumed. Si’s Ultimate deals damage, grants the team Cryo and Heat Amp, and hastens the Team Leader’s Combo Skill cooldown.
She’s mostly a Cryo Support for Cryo and Heat teams, but can flex slightly into Electric and Nature teams. Her main support is participating in the beatdown. Look into using her with Last Rite, Yvonne, and Laevatain!
Argent Flow
Argent Flow is an Imperial Guardsman dispatched from Honsghan HQ to watch over the Endministrator during their convalescence with Si. He seems to know something personal about the Endministrator. 👀
His role is Electric Guard. Functionally, he works as a Sub-DPS bridge for Physical and Electric teams. He can support either, but his greatest strength is merging them. Think of him as the Electric version of Rossi.
By combining his Battle Skill and Combo Skill, Argent Flow applies Vulnerability, Electrification, and a new debuff called Sunderization. Sunderization increases the damage an enemy takes from all sources and detonates for bonus damage when hit with a Crush move.
This combination of features makes Argent Flow a strong Sub-DPS pick for Mi Fu, Zhuang Fangyi, and Da Pan.
Tangtang Re-Runs in Late October
This version update’s re-run banner will be Tangtang‘s, the Cryo Caster from the Version 1.1 update. Notably, the new Cryo Supporter coming in this version, Si, synergizes very well with Tangtang.
NEW WEAPONS
New Arsenal Issue and Protocol Pass weapons have been assigned for Si and Argent Flow.
Si’s Weapons
Si acquired two new Greatswords in this update.
Jade Vessel is her Signature weapon from the Arsenal Issue. Its traits are: Intellect, Cryo DMG, and Efficacy. Acquire the Essence for this from The Hub in Valley IV or Sword Vault Dale from Wuling.
Lost Heritage is her secondary from the Protocol Pass. Its traits are also: Intellect, Cryo DMG, and Efficacy. Acquire the Essence for this from The Hub in Valley IV or Sword Vault Dale from Wuling.
Argent Flow’s Weapons
Argent Flow acquired two Swords.
Lunar Calling is his Signature weapon from the Arsenal Issue. Its traits are: Will, Attack, and Infliction. Acquire the Essence for this from Originium Science Park in Valley IV or from the Marker Stone in Wuling.
Complexed Industry is his secondary from the Protocol Pass. Its traits are: Will, Electric DMG, and Detonate. Acquire the Essence for this from The Hub in Valley IV or Wuling City in Wuling.
Si’s Painting
Si will be bringing the Endministrator into her Scroll space for the Endministrator’s convalescence. The gentle scenery may help the overworked and blighted hero recover. However, this is a combat game after all — what foes might be expected here?
Character-Focused Stories
The Core Chapter Update for [Sanctuary of Ink] is [Enter the Painted World]. Endministrator will be meeting with Si aboard Dijiang, then following her to her painted world. There, she will guide the Endministrator to full health.
With Agent Flow comes his Narrative Event, [Back to the Rustics]. It seems he wants to reminisce about old times with an Endministrator who doesn’t even remember him.
Events, Old and New
Previous events will be iterated upon: Delver of the Cryptic, Echoes of War, Monumental Etching, Carly’s Story, Trial Arena, Contingency Contract, and a Guide Event for the new area.
But that’s not all you can expect from this update. Two new events will be running: [Yuanyuan’s Blazing Stoves] and [New Era for the Myriad Souls].
Yuanyuan’s Blazing Stoves
In this event, players will gather and farm ingredients, then cook dishes to customer orders! If only Si’s Uncle Yu could’ve been here.
New Era for the Myriad Souls
A celebration of Sauin is taking place! Sauin is the Halloween of Arknights. Details are sparse for now, but expect more later into the version update.

A litany of Quality of Life improvements is being implemented, including auto-usage of Sanity Meds and operator gear plans. We also got a look ahead at the content plans for 1.7 and beyond, but we’ll save that for a future article.
