Honkai: Star Rail have recently released their 4.6 special program “Dance With the Beast Before Moonrise” which has revealed a range of exciting new additions as well as the return of some favourite characters. What New Areas Will there be?
Honkai: Star Rail 4.6 will introduce new area Life Sciences Institute in Astropolis. Although limited information around this new area has been revealed we know that thetrailblaze continuance mission will take place here as we venture more into the world of Astropolis.
What are the New Relic Sets?
This update releases 2 new Cavern Relics Dreamlit Actor and The Edacious Heretic.
- Dreamlit Actor
2-Piece Set: Increases SPD by 6%.
4-Piece Set: When the wearer uses their Skill or Ultimate on one other ally target, increases the ability target’s Elation by 16%, lasting for 3 turn(s). If the wearer has 10 or more points of Certified Banger, additionally increases all ally targets’ CRIT DMG by 12%, lasting for 3 turn(s).
- The Edacious Heretic
2-Piece Set: Increases CRIT DMG by 16%.
4-Piece Set: Increases DMG dealt by the wearer’s Basic ATK by 36%. When the wearer uses a Basic ATK, increases the wearer’s ATK by 20%, lasting for 2 turn(s).
What Characters will be available in V4.6?
This update will introduce new 5-star Ice character Pearl who follows the Path of Elation. She will be available from the release of 4.6 until 10th November, 2026. In addition to these new character we will see the return of Mortenax Blade (Phase 2) and Evanescia (Phase 1) as well as their Signature Light Cones.

What Are The Upcoming Events and Gameplay?
As always the new version will return the Gift of Odyssey rewarding you with free Star Rail Special Passes each time you login to the game.
The upcoming flagship event “Love, Ghosts and Robots” will reward players with a range of rewards from Stellar Jades, Tracks of Destiny and a new piece of Trailblaze Fashion as well as much more.
Interastral Peace Gala: One Take is another new event to arrive in the coming update. It will reward you with Stellar Jades, Relic Remains as well as a piece of Room Decor to show off in style.
The Astral Imagea grants you a chance to collect up to 12 different Chimeras as well as 5 different Kitty Furbs in addition to collector editions. In order to unlock these you must spend Trendible Vouchers which are converted from Trendible Tokens using Oneiric Shards. You can obtain 6 free Vouchers by logging into the game as well as additional Vouchers via the in-game events.
Astral Slammers Squad is very similar to the Seal Slammers Event whereby you use your Imageas to defeat the baby seals in order to gain rewards. You can use the Imageas you obtain via the Astral Imagea event or you can use trial Imageas.
Another new event coming in 4.6 is Wishpower UP! Down with Voracity! where you defeat enemies in order to gain Wishpower. The event rewards you with a Commemorative medal after gaining the required amount of Wishpower as well as up to 18 Trendible Vouchers plus 500 Stellar Jades.
Returning will be the Planar Fissue Event as well as the Garden of Plenty.
What Other Exciting Additions are Coming in the Release of 4.6?
Two new character outfits will be available for purchase in the 4.6 update. The outfits will be for Hyacine and Evanescia and will only be available at a discount for a limit time so be sure to purschase them while they are discounted.
- Evanescia – Lunar Blossoming (During 4.6: 2,680 Stellar Jades/ After 4.6: 3,280 Jades)
- Hyacine – Warm Cotton Skies (During 4.6: 1,350 Oneiric Shards/ After 4.6: 1,680 Shards)
Here is what everyone has been waiting for! The highly anticipated Honkai: Star Rail and Zenless Zone Zero Collaboration has finally been confirmed. Coming in Version 4.8 players can look forward to the beginning of the ZZZ and HSR Collab with the release of character Astra Yao who is likely to be a Support character based off her role in ZZZ. Another exciting addition will be Ellen who will most likely be a DPS and can be obtained for free. As we get closer to 4.8 more information and teaster will become available.
