If you are chasing high-tier gear, Duraluminium builds, or just want to flex on players still mining iron in Dune: Awakening, Jasmium Crystals are what you need. It is one of the rarest and most dangerous resources in Dune: Awakening, and it is locked deep inside the irradiated caves of Sheol.
Where to Find Jasmium Crystals – Welcome to Sheol
Sheol is a glowing radioactive death trap, but it is also the only place Jasmium Crystals spawns.

- Zones: Radiation Level 1–4 areas inside crystal caves
- Main spots:
- Edge of Acheron – good for scouting radiation levels and worm movement
- Limbo – closest thing to a safe zone near Sheol (use it as a resupply point)
Use your map filter to highlight radioactive and crystalline deposits. You are looking for tall, glowing green vertical crystal formations – that is Jasmium.
What You Need to Survive
Radiation Suit Mk4 or better
- Crafted at a Garment Fabricator
- Mk4 gives just enough radiation resistance to make a full run
- If you find an Mk5 schematic inside Sheol containers, use it. It bumps you up to 92% radiation protection, which is huge!
Cutterray Mk4
- Anything lower literally will not work
- Jasmium is too tough for baby tools, and the longer you stand there, the faster you cook
How to Actually Mine Jasmium
So you made it in – suit is holding, Cutterray charged, and no players have shot you yet. Now what?
- Target those tall green crystal spikes
- You will get around +14 Jasmium Crystals per hit with a working Mk4
- Keep an eye on your radiation meter and tool durability
- If your suit breaks mid-run, you will be glowing in the dark… and not in a fun way

Turning Jasmium Into Duraluminium
Jasmium Crystals by itself does not do much. The real value is using it to craft Duraluminium, an important endgame material for advanced weapons and gear.
Duraluminium Recipe (Medium Crystals Refinery):
- Water x500
- Aluminium Ingot x1
- Jasmium Crystals x4
Make sure to always batch-process when possible. Saves you time, space, and stress.
Final Tips From the Radioactive Frontier
- Scout first: Use Edge of Acheron to check for safe paths and active worm zones
- Use Limbo as your HQ: It is close enough to run resupplies or recover when things go bad
- Bring repair kits: Everything breaks in Sheol – tools, suits, your spirit
- Do not get greedy: If your radiation meter goes red, get out. Dying with 60 Jasmium Crystals in your bag is not worth it
