Players have already started uncovering hidden secrets in Neverness to Everness, and one of the most useful ones we saw is how to get the free signature ARC for the main character. The best part of this is that you do not need to reach a certain part of the story since you can go grab it right when you enter the first zone, and that means that your Main Character will have one of his best weapons pretty early on.
The solution was shared on social media by the account nte_update, however, it was missing some important information that was detailed in the comments, so we put everything together for you!
A Hidden Early-Game Reward
This secret takes place entirely in the starting region from the Bureau to the left and top side of the zone, meaning you do not need to progress far into the story to unlock it.
It is really not hard to get, you just need to visit a few specific locations across the map in a set order and talk to an NPC, and you will get an S-Rank Arc and an achievement at the end.
There is one important condition, though! You need to change the time and weather of your game and put it at 8:00 AM in sunny weather. The NPCs will not appear at any other time. Once you did that, you can head from location to location, following this order:
Step-by-Step Overview
Since a map with a few indications is not always the best, here is where exactly you can find each location!
- First, you want to teleport to the Bureau. This is the little teleport that is down right of your map. Once there, look to your right, and you will notice an NPC called Eclipse. Talk to her to start the chain
- After that, go back to town and head to the rooftop of the photo building to talk to Eclipse again
- The third location is higher up, in the sub-zone on top. Go to the Wertheimer Tower and head towards the long alley with the glass roof and all the shops. When you reach the other side, Eclipse will wait for you on top of a building in front. There is a police station nearby as well.
- After that, go back to the photo shop and cross the road towards the beach. Eclipse will be waiting on top of the stairs leading down to the beach
- After that, you will need to climb to the highest beam on the large bridge that leads to the Bureau
- And finally, return to the Bureau starting point. When you teleport, look to the right, Eclipse will be waiting for you there again!
When you talk to Eclipse at the Bureau again, she will reward you with the Main Character’s signature ARC. While this might not be his best ARC, depending on the situation you are in, it is definitely worth getting, especially for free.
You Can Also Get an Achievement
If you do not care about achievements, you can technically stop here, but for those who want to obtain all achievements in the game, you need to complete the last step.
- Head to the Wertheimer Tower on the left side of the map
- Find the “Curious Kid” NPC near the tower and talk to him for the first time. He will tell you that he always wanted to see an Eclipse
- Equip the ARC you just obtained (“Day Off”)
- Use its special ability to trigger an eclipse
- Speak to the Kid again to complete the quest
Once done, you will unlock the achievement.
Considering how valuable ARCs are early on, this is an easy little quest that can give your team a noticeable boost without spending any money or resources. It is also a good example of how Neverness to Everness hides meaningful rewards behind exploration rather than just menus and systems.
