Midnight Pre-Patch Likely to Launch Before January 27 Event

This week’s Midnight Alpha build has added a new splash screen, revealing the start date of the Midnight pre-expansion event!

Titled Twilight Ascension, the Midnight pre-expansion event will go live on January 27, 2026. Thanks to MrGM for the splash screen screenshot.

When Will the Midnight Pre-Patch Hit Live?

While the pre-expansion event surrounding cultists will start on January 27, it’s possible the pre-patch will hit one week earlier. Blizzard’s doing a similar schedule with the Brawler’s Guild in Patch 11.2.7 that’s available one week after the patch’s launch on December 9.
