Tier List Update
Our Tier List ranks the Monster Hunter Wilds Weapon according to the following characteristics:
- Ease of use: this means if a weapon is easy to pick up or hard to play
- Damage potential
- Versatility
- Overall effectiveness during Hunts
After the Title Update 1, there has not been that many changes to weapons. While more balance updates are planned by Capcom, so far only the Bow really got adjusted. After taking this into account and various testing, the following changes have been made to the Tier List:
- Insect Glaive has been moved up to A Tier. While the Kinsect can feel tricky at first, once you understand how it works, it is easily manageable. It remains not the easiest to play, but it has enough versatility with its unique aerial combat possibilities, and the amount of damage it can deal, to deserve a spot in A Tier.
- Hammer has dropped to C-Tier. While Hammer is not that hard to play, right now it does lack behind all the other weapons. It has the shortest range, and is the slowest weapon, forcing you to put in way more efforts to deal the same amount of damage as other weapons.
Capcom did confirm that the Hammer will be the next weapon to receive a massive update, so keep your eyes open for more information and updates about it soon!
