Ellesmere UI comes to WoW: Forever!
Ellesmere UI has officially made it to WoW Forever! Crix goes over his personal setup in this video on top of other tips and tricks, but of course you should tailor your UI to your preferences. This UI addon is incredibly versatile when it comes to customizing the look of your interface, and is also very intuitive to navigate. Simply right-clicking elements (for example your action bar) and selecting “element options” will take you to the customization options for whatever element you choose. EllesmereUI also includes a map interface and a built in Cooldown Manager (CDM) that you can fully customize.
Details
Details has been a staple of the WoW community for a very long time, and WoW Forever is no different. While some players may prefer to use the vanilla damage and healing meters provided by Blizzard, Details can provide a little extra information in a clear way. An example of this is the threat meter, which is imperative to have in WoW: Forever. Crix covers this extra meter in their video!
Rested XP
For those who like to be super efficient and level as fast as possible, Rested XP is a great addon to have! It includes features like auto quest turn-in and accept, a customizable arrow to point towards your quest objectives, a levelling time tracker and so much more! It’s most notable optimization to levelling is the fact that it modifies your questing journey depending on which character you are playing, so you will not have to spend hours searching for the best levelling route.
Platynator
Platynator is also an addon that is useful for tracking name plates and unit frames. These frames are very customizable to fit your UI, and they also show when an enemy mob is required for the quests currently in your quest log!
BugSack & BugGrabber
These two addons are essentials to have in these early development stages. Bug Grabber will let you know when a LUA error has occurred in your game and Bugsack will store these errors, which means you will be able to see clearly what is causing UI fatalities in your game. These two addons work side by side, so installing both is required for them to work properly.
Baganator
Baganator is being continually updated for WoW: Forever, and has been a fan favourite for a couple of years now. It is a simple and easy to use addon that allows you to sort your bags however you’d like, whether you like categorizing each of your items into separate bags, or having one big single view!
Leatrix Maps
Leatrix Maps is a great map addon, which allows you to see coordinates, dungeon icons, raid icons and more. It also has some customization elements that players may like to use!
Talents Forever
Talents Forever is an overhaul to the vanilla talent calculator. This addon allows you to plan and build your talents, without spending points! You can also try popular builds, as well as sharing your own. It’s a great tool to have if you like experimenting a lot with your talents.
Forever Dungeon Journal
The Forever Dungeon Journal resembles the vanilla dungeon journal we see in Retail WoW, and is incredibly useful to see potential drops that you can get from both quests and dungeons. It can also tell you if you have quests that you still need to do for the specific dungeons, and at what level they unlock.
